I grew up in Northern New Jersey, sketching its woods, ponds and flowers.  I attended various colleges – graduating from S.U.N.Y  New Paltz, NY with a degree in Fine Arts. After graduation, I was a freelance commercial artist.  I now devote myself full time to painting whatever interests me. Some of my favorite subjects include Coastal New England  –  the sea birds, beaches, marine life, and fishing fleet. The historic Hudson Valley – the mountains, lakes, it’s critters and birds.   Southwest focus is on the wide open sky grasslands,  mountains, and the wildlife found in this diverse area.

My goal is to create paintings that allow me to share with the viewer something that interests me – something of beauty, something maybe unnoticed by other people.
